La Charentine is a contemporary house with a large landscaped garden facing the Charente, comprising 5 bedrooms with independent access and private shower room, ideally located at the gateway to the ocean in a privileged setting. You'll be in the heart of a protected natural environment and close to all the remarkable sites Charente Maritime has to offer: 5 km from Rochefort, 12 km from the beaches and Ile Madame, 20 km from Ile d'Oléron, 35 km from La Rochelle, Ile de Ré and Royan. From the house, you have direct access to the cycle paths and the Vélodyssée. In total peace and quiet, you'll enjoy the beauty of the panoramic views over the Charente and the superb sunsets.
Our guest house, "La Charentine", has five spacious, comfortable rooms, each with its own entrance and private bathroom.

Chambre Rive Gauche : ground floor, double bed (160cm), shower room with WC, private terrace overlooking the Charente river
Chambre Rive Gauche: ground floor, family room with double bed (160cm), separate lounge area with pull-out bed, total capacity 2 adults and 2 children, shower room with WC, private terrace overlooking the Charente river.
Chambre Transbordine: upstairs, double bed 180 (or 2 x 90), bathroom with bath and WC, view of the Transbordeur Bridge.
Small communal lounge reserved for guests, "bistro" breakfast room with terrace overlooking the Charente.
Patio by the pool with garden furniture, herbal tea room....
