La Roche des Bois

Come and discover La Roche des Bois, a charming house typical of the region which offers a beautiful panorama of the Charente and its marshes and the opportunity to take advantage of multiple activities: golf, tennis, water sports, walks, the beaches of Fouras... La Roche des Bois is situated on the Vélodyssée route, 4 km from the beaches of Fouras, 15 minutes from Rochefort, 25 minutes from La Rochelle and 30 minutes from Saintes.
This 150 m² house is composed on the ground floor of a 34 m² living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a small entrance, a laundry room, separate toilets and two bedrooms with 160 cm beds and their private shower room. On the first floor, a bedroom with a 160cm bed and another with two 90cm beds, and on the landing, a shower room with toilet.
In front of the house, a courtyard of 60 m² overlooks the marshes and the Charente.
Our gîte is located in the hamlet of Hautes Roches, 1km from the centre of the village. You will find all amenities around the church: bakery, grocery shop, bar-restaurant, wine shop, hairdresser, pharmacy, nurse, doctor.
We have completely restored this house, keeping the charm of the old (exposed stones) but with all the modern comfort. We will be delighted to welcome you to our gîte so that you can discover our beautiful region.
