Saint Froult beach

Located between the oyster farming site of Montportail and the Nature Escape site of the Moëze nature reserve. Come and discover the wild nature of the Saint-Froult beach, facing the magnificent Fort Boyard and the island of Oléron, according to the tides.
A family beach for its safety, it is also a well-known spot for windsurfing.
With shaded parking areas, it is laid out with wooden gratings to allow easy access to the sand for people with reduced mobility (pushchairs, wheelchairs).
Dogs on a lead are allowed on the beach. Owners of dogs not kept on a lead may be fined.

Please note that in order to preserve biodiversity, access to the dunes and dykes is forbidden (except for the Montportail dyke in the north). The southern part of the beach of Saint-Froult is in an integral reserve: access by land or sea is forbidden, including for board sports (including windsurfing).
