A naval officer and writer, Loti brought back objects, hangings, decorations and souvenirs from his many travels around the world, which he gradually used to transform the house where he was born. The house has been closed for several years for restoration work, but you can discover this surprising house in 3D at the Musée Hèbre.
It is due to reopen in June 2025.
