Medieval covered market

The halls of Saint Jean d'Angleare from the 17th century. They have undergone different functions throughout the centuries: market, livestock fairs and sheltered silent movies. According to the classic model, the hall is built on wooden pillars, it is opened to the outside and has two bays separated by rows of wooden poles. It is covered with tiles. The asymmetrical aspect of its physiognomy, probably due to the amputation of a span in order to clear the street leading to the church makes all its charm and its originality.
