  • Marcel Buzat was born on 11 December 1910 in Rochefort, in the family home on rue Baudin, in the Chante Alouette district. After completing his schooling at Lycée Pierre Loti, he worked as an industrial draughtsman at Goldenberg.
    Around 1990, on his own initiative, he recorded his ‘Souvenirs de jeunesse’ on a small cassette recorder. In 2010, these 5 cassettes were loaned by his daughter, Jany Le Gallo, to the Rochefort Archives, which digitised them and made them available to the...
