Convergence vélo - Tonnay-Charente

Cycling is our best ally for getting around Rochefort Océan!

The Convergence Vélo will demonstrate this by bringing together dozens of cyclists. It's a festive, family-friendly event, organised as part of the national Mai à Vélo campaign.

The routes proposed below are largely based on future developments in the CARO's cycling master plan.
The convergence of these routes will enable cyclists to get to grips with them and reveal their essential role in our region.

The walk is free and open to all. Look out for the nearest start point on the map (on the website) and join us on the morning of Sunday 18 May, on your own, with your family and children, or with friends. We'll finish with a parade through Rochefort and a picnic at the football pitch near Le Clos. There'll also be food trucks, repairs, mini bikes, anti-theft marking and a road safety workshop.

It's an opportunity to take part in a fun and colourful outing as part of the Mai à Vélo operation, and to meet neighbours and people who share this passion thanks to many years - sometimes decades - of daily cycling!
