Three spaces, three sounds for an unusual experience: Lend an ear!

Artist Anthony Carcone's sound cartography immerses you in listening to the city through 24 ambient sounds captured in different places in Rochefort: the Charente, the lagooning station, the thermal baths, the Transbordeur bridge, the spirulina greenhouse, etc.

Sound postcards, produced by pupils from La Fayette secondary school in Rochefort with Anthony Carcone, take you to 7 places for which these young people have a particular affinity.

Finally, as a counterpoint, the recorded testimony of Marcel Buzat (1910-1994), a Rochefort native who lived through the 20th century, evokes the town and its soundscape in the 1930s and 1950s.

Come and listen to Rochefort in this space where your ears will be put to the test!
