Jean-Marie Vigoureux presents a lecture on water in the storm of climate change.
The exceptional properties of water play an important role in global warming. We will show this by answering a number of questions that we may be asking ourselves: what is the greenhouse effect? Why is it that rainfall is heavier and hotter? Why don't the water tables necessarily fill up when it rains? What does a temperature rise of 2°C mean? Why can relatively low temperatures still be lethal? And so on....Jean-Marie Vigoureux presents a lecture on water in the storm of climate change.

We'll also be looking at two serious issues of the day: water availability and water quality.
