JUJU STÉRÉO [ AFRO FUSION ]
This young project is already showing promise. The brainchild of two seasoned musicians, Juju Stéréo creates an artistic bridge between Alsace and Togo.
Amen Viana (guitar/vocals) and Jon Grandcamp (drums) create a rich, dynamic sound.
Their dexterity is unquestionable, and their previous live performances and recordings suggest they are in for an inspiring concert.
Amen Viana sings in Mina (an ethnic group living in the south of Togo), French and English, and plays the guitar, drawing on the very roots of African music while bringing a virtuosity not unlike that of Jimi Hendrix or Living Colour. Jon Grandcamp, for his part, has accompanied a host of artists (Ayo, Blick Bassy, Fatoumata Diawara...) and is instantly admired for his rich, nuanced drumming.

    PIERRE & THE STOMPERS [ ELECTRO ]
A veritable UFO, Pierre & The Stompers offer a world of sound with telluric energy, combining the power of electronic music with the freshness of improvisation. Alone on stage, with his overexcited saxophone and effects pedals, Pierre surfs his way through sets that borrow from Berlin's minimal techno as well as trap, world music, psytrance, hardtek, UK dub and drum and bass... A wide range of influences all serving the same purpose: a return to music that's unifying, cathartic and enjoyable. More than a concert, it's a journey to be experienced with ears wide open.
