The class, the work :
Let yourself be surprised by the animated film about Narcisse Pelletier, made by pupils from collège Lafayette and lycée Merleau-Ponty in Rochefort, guided by storyteller Céline Ripoll.
The class, the work: A sensitive stroll, an imaginary journey
To introduce the new Diplôme National des Métiers d'Art et du Design students to the town of Rochefort, the teaching staff at Lycée Gilles Jamain proposed starting the school year with a project in partnership with the Musée Hèbre.
Following a visit to the museum, during which they observed the works in detail, took photographs and gathered extensive information, the students developed a number of ideas for their work, which can be found in their research notebooks. From there, a vision was defined and developed into a personal creative universe inspired by a work exhibited at the museum. The aim of the project is for each student to design and produce a final textile sample.
These samples and research notebooks will be exhibited in a dedicated area of the museum on Museum Night, and will remain there until the end of the school year.
