Spirulina is a tropical freshwater microalgae rich in proteins, fatty acids, vitamins, antioxidants, etc. It has been home-grown in Rochefort since 2017, without the use of additives. Come and find out more about spirulina, its atypical production method, its virtues and how it is consumed.

The production site is open 3 afternoons a week for on-site sales: Wednesdays from 3pm to 6pm, Fridays from 3pm to 6.30pm, Saturdays from 3pm to 6pm, by appointment only.

Guided tours are available by prior arrangement on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday afternoons.

Please note: spirulina cultivation requires a tropical climate, with temperatures of over 40°C common in the greenhouse between April and October. Make sure you wear light clothing in sunny weather.
