Information about the tourist tax

The Rochefort Ocean tourist tax is payable to the hosts throughout the year. The amount is calculated per person per night. It varies according to the level of comfort (classification and / or label).

Exemptions now limited to 3 cases:

• Minors under the age of eighteen;
• Peoplewho, through their work or profession, participate in the operation of the station;
• People receiving emergency accommodation or temporary rehousing.
• People with disabilities are no longer exempt.

Why do you have to pay the tourist tax and what is it for?
