Yes, there was something supernatural when Piaf sang: her voice penetrated people's hearts. Piaf expressed a cry: the cry of humanity. In this performance, biographer, writer and actor Pierre Fesquet looks at La Môme's career in the light of his faith. Singer Yamina Abdous performs well-known and sometimes mystical songs from Piaf's repertoire, accompanied by accordionist Thierry Bretonnet.
After the performance, Pierre Fesquet will be signing his book ‘Piaf, un cri vers Dieu’. A friendly drink will be served for a convivial moment. After Paris, the play ‘Piaf, un cri vers Dieu’ is being performed throughout France.
